Kevin Howell is a Hoosier State Press Association award winner, freelance writer/photographer and a former newspaper reporter.

A lifelong resident of Indiana, he lives with his wife Jean and their two dogs and a crazy cat in the woods north of Delphi, Indiana where they raised two sons, Zac and Paul.

From his home office overlooking Pleasant Run valley near the Wabash River he writes about the people of his home state, its natural environment and other topics of interest.

He enjoys hiking his surrounding woods and paddling the rivers and streams of northern Indiana.

His friends include librarians, professional therapists, politicians, mechanics, laborers, computer geeks, and members of the Eel River Tribe of Indiana, and other people from all walks of life.

After his position at a local newspaper was eliminated, just months after his wife’s position as grant coordinator was eliminated from the city of Delphi, Kevin and Jean created Noble Bikes on a shoestring budget.
